Holiday Inn Express & Suites Columbus - Polaris, an IHG Hotel

The property is spotless, the manager went out of his way to help me upgrade to a room with a hide-a-bed when another grandchild decided to join me for the staycation, the breakfast was fresh and hot in a very pleasant dining room. The hotel is located in a great area of town that has lots of things to do around it . The most outstanding thing of this location to my grandchildren, was that the indoor pool was much larger than the typical indoor pool at a hotel and it had a child-size frog slide, a small, lazy river, and the type of features that you see at some splash pads. They had a blast!

I didn’t really have any dislikes with the location the only problem and it’s not just here or this location. It seems like when there’s a big event that is in an area hotels raise their rates through the roof for that event and I didn’t mind paying for it, but still I feel that that’s kind of bull crap other than that. Staff was nice. Location was good. We came in late checked in continental breakfast was ready. Everything was stellar.

Although our room was next to the elevator, we didn’t hear any noise from elevator usage. It was very quiet during our entire stay. The room was very clean and the bed and pillows were great.

Close to everywhere we were going in the Polaris location. Staff was great. Room was excellent
